with FEI riders as well as both schooling
Cara has been riding and competing for over 35 years. She began riding hunter/jumpers and made the switch to concentrate on dressage 12 yrs ago. Cara is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a BS in Animal Science/Biochemistry. She rode for the University of Delaware equestrian team from 1987-1989. Cara and her husband Tom own and operate Fidler Run Farm in Dennisville NJ. They have focused on breeding quality Oldenburg horses and have also hosted the ISR/Oldenburg inspections. Cara believes riding should be an enjoyable experience for both horse and rider. She feels honesty, integrity, and dedication are the keys to success. She thinks you should never stop learning and continues to educate herself and her horses by working with FEI riders regularly. Cara is currently showing her Dutch Warmblood, Luzern and Connemara/ TB, My Valentine. She is preparing her 4 yr old Oldenburg, Donnerchief and Swedish Warmblood, Baltic Rose for the 2008 show season. Together with her daughter Alexis, Cara has trained and competed horses to win both local GMO year-end championships as well as USDF All Breed awards and has had success at the BLM and GAIG Regional Championships. Alexis recently placed 6th at the 2007 USEF National Equitation Finals on her horse Das Ein and is preparing her new mount Don't Blink for the FEI 5 yr test in 2008.
