Fidler Run is now offering training for both horse and rider. Visit the lesson page for more information on Cara and our training program.

While Cara and her daughter Alexis both ride, her husband Tom concentrates his time on their business, Heathcote Fence and their son Ryan rides only for fun.

They host both schooling and USDF/USEF shows.  Fidler Run has also hosted the ISR/Oldenburg inspection

Cara has been riding and competing for over 35 years. She began riding hunter/jumpers and made the switch to concentrate on dressage 13 yrs ago. Cara is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a BS in Animal Science/Biochemistry. She rode for the University of Delaware equestrian team from 1987-1989. Cara and her husband Tom own and operate Fidler Run Farm in Dennisville NJ. They have focused on breeding quality Oldenburg horses and have also hosted the ISR/Oldenburg inspections, USDF/USEF Dressage Shows and Dressage Schooling Shows.

Cara believes riding should be an enjoyable experience for both horse and rider. She feels honesty, integrity, and dedication are the keys to success. She thinks you should never stop learning and continues to educate herself and her horses by working with top international professionals. She is currently working with Heather Mason, Flying Change Farm in Lebanon, NJ. In the past Cara attended clinics regularly with Leif Sorenson from Denmark and worked with Rick Klaassen , from Germany for two years.

Together with her daughter Alexis, Cara has trained and competed horses from Starter to FEI Level at both USDF and schooling shows.
